Out With The Old And In With The New
Last weekend I recently discovered that the old skate park is being tore down and re-furbished and given to West Layfete. The new skate park is going to be at the Higmbaugh lot down the street from Central Elementary. I think this is the best place for its huge alot of space to put what we want. But with every silver lining there are also grey clouds surrounding it. Tell me your opinion on the skate park idea.

I think that is NOT a good spot for the new skate park. To many people use that space for pick up football and baseball games. There were also kids there flying kites yesterday. Thats going to take away space the whole town could use. It will also take up space that was used for church festivals and things like that!
ReplyDeleteYes i agree with caci in some accpects but on the other hand there is alot of space there and the two corners by the fire station is the only space they are going to use to build. the baseball diamond will still be able to be used and tey can still play footbal in the outfield of the baseball field. So i believe that it is a good idea to put it right in front of the fire station so that it will reduce usage of drugs and alcohol. Also it will reduce the amount of fights at the skate park because right now when a big fight comes up it is usually there at the skate park as long as there are no adults mowing the baseball fields.
